ASF is a Dallas-based 501(c)(3) that provides performing arts outreach, entertainment, and enrichment
to individuals of all ages impacted by war, violence, natural disaster, and economic disparity.
We bring the performing arts to ALL.
Who We’re Looking For:
ASF seeks high-capacity, well-connected leaders who bring one or more of the following:
Strategic Networkers: corporate executives, civic leaders, university partners, funders
Financial Stewards: CFOs, CPAs, finance pros, investment advisors
Legal Experts: nonprofit law, entertainment law, contracts, immigration/humanitarian law
Marketing & Communications Specialists: branding, digital growth, Public Relations
Fundraising Leaders: development professionals, corporate partnership connectors
Creative Industry/Touring Professionals: producers, venue managers, entertainment executives
Expectations & Responsibilities:
Cultivating and participating in a high-capacity, working board committed to ASF's mission,
growth, and long-term sustainability
Governance & Strategy
Attend quarterly board meetings
Serve on one committee (Finance, Governance, Fundraising, or Touring/Programming)
Review budgets, financials, and major organizational decisions
Ambassadorship
Expand ASF’s reach by leveraging personal and professional networks
Introduce potential donors, partners, and presenters
Serve as a public advocate for ASF and HAZARDS
Fundraising
Help ASF secure resources needed to scale locally, nationally, and globally
Host or co-host at least 1 small donor salon, community presentation, or cultivation event per year
Financial Commitment
Board Member: $2,500*
Leadership Circle: $5,000*
Executive/Founders Circle: $10,000*
*Can be personal gift, employer match, corporate sponsorship, or fundraising sourced by the member.
Time Commitment
~4–6 hours/month (8–10 hours during production cycles)
Annual half-day retreat
Attendance at one ASF and/or HAZARDS event
